Terms & Conditions

To make sure we (you, and the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum) are on the same page, we have outlined a few points. By uploading your photo, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1.
When necessary, we will edit your answer to improve readability. The text may be used as part of the exhibition, including promotional materials, social media, exhibition displays, and any other form that such an exhibition may take.

2.
By uploading your photo you declare that you own the copyright of the image and grant us permission to use it free of charge for the same purposes as the text (see above).

3.
The photo you contribute shows a tattoo that you have, inked on your own skin. Uploading images of someone else’s tattoos is strictly forbidden, and we cannot be held responsible for any consequences of this.

4.
Uploading photos and text does not guarantee that we will use them. If your tattoo photo and story are chosen to be included, we will inform you via email.

5.
Sharing your social media accounts with us gives us permission to tag you in our social media posts.

6.
Any negative consequences arising from you uploading text or photos, or us using them as mentioned above, are not the responsibility of the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum (we can’t think of any, but just making sure).

7.
Unfortunately we won’t be able to use your photo if the quality of the image doesn’t meet our standards, so please send us enough pixels and try to keep it in focus!

8.
The deadline for uploading photos and text is May 6 2022.

9.
Participation is open to all members of the public aged 18 and over. Entries submitted by anyone under 18 will be disregarded.

10.
You may not post someone else’s private or confidential photographs or information or do anything that violates someone else’s rights, including intellectual property rights (e.g. copyright infringement, trademark infringement, counterfeit or pirated goods).

11.
You confirm that you own or have obtained all necessary rights to the content you post or share.

12.
We do not claim ownership of your content, but you grant us a licence to use it.

13.
Nothing changes regarding your rights to your content. We do not claim ownership of your content and you are free to share your content with anyone else, wherever you choose. However, we need certain legal permissions from you (known as a “licence”) for you to participate. When you share, post or upload content that is covered by intellectual property rights (such as photos or videos) on our platforms, you hereby grant to us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide licence to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate and create derivative works of your content.
