The Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum in Amsterdam is the oldest and most important museum in the world dedicated to Cannabis Sativa L., also known as hemp or marijuana.

The museum manages and exhibits a unique collection that encompasses all aspects of cannabis, functions as a knowledge centre, facilitates scientific research and plays an important informative role.

Liz Kueneke

For three days (3-5 September), the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum in Amsterdam will host “Urban Fabric”, a social art project by artist Liz Kueneke (USA/ES)”. Focusing on Amsterdam, Kueneke will engage with passersby about hemp’s potential contribution to a more sustainable city. Come by and share your thoughts about this enormously versatile plant.

We are Mary Jane - Women of Cannabis

From 8 June to 2 December 2018 the museum in Amsterdam explores the role of women in the world of cannabis in the exhibition We are Mary Jane: Women of Cannabis.

In 2012, after 10 years of preparation, the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum in Barcelona opened its doors.
