Cheech & Chong are a comedy duo consisting of Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong. In the 1970s and 1980s these two stereotypical stoners symbolized cannabis culture in the United States. In their first movie Up in Smoke (1978), the two become friends and drive from Tijuana to Los Angeles in a van that is entirely made of marijuana fibre. In Nice Dreams (1981), Cheech and Chong make a fortune by selling a shipment of marijuana out of an ice cream truck. And Still Smokin (1983) is their ultimate high as they arrive in Amsterdam.
