Marijuana Legalisation in the Age of Trump

8 States legalized: What is the path forward?

The Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum and the Cannabis College of Amsterdam have invited two key American cannabis experts and activists –  the “Power Couple of Pot” Chris Conrad and Mikki Norris – for a talk in the cannabis college in Amsterdam on April 21st, 7:30-8:30 pm.

The cannabis industry in the US, both for the medicinal and recreational use of the plant, has been developing at breakneck pace over the last decade. The legalisation in eight states reflect the enormous legal and cultural changes that have been achieved. However, at present, the status is in limbo. No one really knows (yet) whether Trump’s largely unknown policies will be furthering (or narrowing down) cannabis legalisation. Starting from their in depth knowledge and experience with the American system, Chris Conrad and Mikki Norris will reflect on this blistering topic. Hear the latest news from the US about the reform movement and the growing cannabis industry that will change the world.

Chris and Mikki began their grassroots legalisation campaign in 1988 and championed last year’s successful California Prop. 64 campaign. Chris is the author of The Newbies Guide to Cannabis and the Industry, Hemp: Lifeline to the Future, and Hemp for Health. Mikki is co-author of Shattered Live: Portraits from America’s Drug War and Human Rights and the US Drug War. They were curators of the Hash Marihuana Hemp Museum of Amsterdam and publish TheLeafOnline.com.
